Welcome PVR members,
Now that we have made it through the first half of the racing season, it is time to start looking towards the second half. Hopefully you have been able to get out to some of the race series that PVR sponsors. PVR sponsors three different series. PVR is the primary sponsor for both the AHRMA Mid-Atlantic cross country and MX series, the Mid-Atlantic Vintage Trials series, and the American Classic Motocross series. Even if you are not a racer yourself, come out and watch these vintage bikes in action.
Next up for the AHRMA Mid-Atlantic XC and MX series is a new venue. They will be heading to Quiet Oaks Campground in Cross Forks, PA. MX will take place on Saturday, July 20th with XC taking place on Sunday, July 21st. After that there will be a two day XC race at Coyote Run in Ebensburg, PA on Saturday, August 24th and Sunday the 25th. Field of Dreams MX in Greensburg, PA will be the host site for a two day AHRMA National and Mid-Atlantic regional MX race. This will be the second year racing at a well laid out MX course. A completely new venue is next on the list which will take place at Blacks Hollow Recreation MX in Spring Church, PA. MX will be on Saturday, September 21st with XC taking place on Sunday, September 22nd. The month of October will feature two fan favorites to close out the season. Reynlow Park in Reynoldsville, PA is first with MX racing on Saturday, October, 12th and XC on Sunday, October 13th. White Rose MC in Spring Grove, PA will be the host to close out the season with a GP style grass MX track taking place on Saturday, October 26th with XC on Sunday, the 27th. The second half of the Mid-Atlantic Vintage Trials (MAVT) season will kick off on Saturday, August 3rd at OVBSAOC in Toronto, Ohio. One week later they will be headed to SPOTR in Dover, PA on Sunday, August 11th. There will be a youth trials taking place in Darlington, MD on Sunday, September 29th. No points will be awarded. The next trials event will take place at the Tricky Trialers in Marysville, PA on Sunday, October 13th. MAVT heads to Grangue, Delaware for the Tri-state Trialers on Sunday, November, 3rd. The season will wrap up at the Penn-Jersey Trials Club in Freemansburg, PA on Sunday November 10th. For flyers and the latest information, please check out the Mid-Atlantic Vintage Trials MAVT Inc. The American Classic Motocross (ACR) series has three more weekends left on their schedule. In early August they are going to be at Diamondback's new location at The Ranch in Carlisle, New York. Practice will take place on Friday, August 2nd with racing on Saturday the 3rd. In late August they are heading to Dutchman MX in Pine Grove, PA. Practice will take place on Friday, August 23rd with racing taking place on Saturday the 24th. ACR will finish out the season at The Wick 338 in Southwick, Massachusetts with practice on Friday, September 13th and racing on Saturday, September 14th. There is plenty of racing left this year, so tell your friends and make some plans to head to some of the events mentioned. Also, please mark you calendars for the PVR swap meet this January which will take place a little earlier than past years. The swap meet will be at the York Fairgrounds Expo Arena on Sunday, January 12th from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
