PVR SWAP MEET & BIKE SHOW 1/21/2024
York Fairgrounds / Expo Center, 334 Carlisle Ave., York, PA
2024 VINTAGE BIKE SHOW TO CELEBRATE 1974!
Special 50th Anniversary category added.
I know we’re all looking forward to the summer season and the PVR Swap Meet/Bike Show is not on the radar right now. I did want to let everyone know we are planning a special event for the Bike Show this year.
Since 1974 was a transitional year for most off-road motorcycles and really the last year for standard twin-shock technology (4” travel), we wanted to have this coincide with the 2024 show and designate a 50th anniversary focus.
We will have a portion of the Bike Show dedicated to 1974 model-year bikes to commemorate this 50th anniversary. There will be special participation tag for all 1974 entries. These bikes will be still entered into their respective class for the regular portion of the show (w/ other year bikes, minimum 25 years old).
THE CHALLENGE…to all our participants from last year and anyone else interested is to get the word out and cleanup, finish or start any 1974 bike/projects for the show. We have a lot of passionate restorers and collectors that could make this a real celebration for the 2024 show.
Thanks to all who make our Bike Show so memorable every year. We really appreciate your efforts, talents and time to display/share your motorcycles with everyone. Look for the sign-up forms online this Fall at pvrclub.org
Hope to see everybody January 21st!
